Objective

The STIR'D Meals on a Budget Cooking Expo is all about bringing people together to discover creative ways to make delicious meals without breaking the bank. Our goal is to inspire you with hands-on cooking demos, expert tips, and a chance to share ideas with fellow food lovers. Whether you're a seasoned home chef or just starting out, you'll leave with new skills, budget-friendly recipes, and a sense of connection.

Process

Designing the logo for STIR'D was such a fun, creative process. I wanted the logo to feel warm and approachable, just like the event itself. Adding a playful spoon graphic and a macaroni as the apostrophe between the R and D was my favorite part!

Creative Brief

The idea behind the STIR'D Meals on a Budget Cooking Expo was to create something that feels collaborative, light-hearted, and totally inviting. The branding had to be vibrant and joyful, with a simple, approachable vibe that really makes you feel part of a community. People from all walks of life could come together, share their tips, and learn how to cook delicious meals without spending a fortune.

Process and Inspiration

The process began with researching simple and modern iconography that involves playful illustrations and fonts that represent the joyful nature of the expo. I used Adobe Firefly, an AI tool, to create the style board above using the “STIR’D” composition and the illustration beside to the right. This served as inspiration for the branding. Fun, whimsical, and vibrant!
